The British Association of Shooting and Conservation (BASC) will host a charity clay shoot at Cricket St Thomas, near Chard on Saturday 5 September, in aid of Help for Heroes and BASC’s Young Shots initiative.

Sponsored by Derbyshire’s Estate Agents, the shoot will comprise a 50-bird Sporting shoot and a three man flush with cash prizes. BASC-accredited shotgun instructors will also be on hand for those wanting to try clay shooting, or to brush up on their skills. There will be supervised airgun ranges, with a chance to win prizes like a BSA air rifle, as well as hot and cold refreshments and a bar.

“We’re all set for what should be a great day in aid of a very deserving charity,” said James, BASC South West regional officer. “The aim is to offer something for everyone.”

Entry to the Sporting shoot is £18, £15 re-entry. For more information, contact James Green at james.green@basc.org.uk.
