Revolutionary gunboxes on show

There’s a new development in the world of safe gun storage and transport – and you can see it first on the Lasting Classics stand at the UK Game Fair.

Lasting Classics is a new arrival on the shooting market, and the UK Game Fair is the first national game fair at which the public will be able to see their unique vehicular gunboxes.

Making each box as a bespoke product to the client’s specifications, Lasting Classics provides the same security as a home gun cabinet, with a tracking device that can locate your vehicle within seconds. What is more, you can customise the appearance of the gunbox, making it personal to you and making sure it doesn’t look out-of-place in your vehicle.

Chris Neal of Lasting Classics explained what makes them so special: “Whereas a gunbox classically would be made of wood, we’ve made ours out of a high-quality aluminium composite. That allows us to make the box incredibly light but also incredibly secure. We finish the box to whatever specification the customer would like – even down to engraving their initials – and install a tracking device and seven-lever locks. It’s also secured directly into the vehicle. Without having the key, there’s no way you can get that box out of the car.”

The Lasting Classics range was first seen at the West of England Game Fair on March, and Chris was excited for its national-level at the UK Game Fair: “We looked at various game fairs. The only people that seemed to want to help me, and really care about what were doing, were the UK Game Fair.

“I think it’s going to be a very high-quality show.”
