The date has been announced for next year’s Countryside Clay Shoot: Saturday 14 May at Six Mile Bottom in Cambridgeshire.
Although the event is almost a year away, this year’s shoot was hailed as a success and teams are eagerly awaiting their chance to return to the prestigious charity event. Raising money for the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust (GWT), and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI), the event was organised by BASC and the CLA.
Participants included teams from the Angling Trust, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC), the Countryside Alliance, CLA, Guns on Pegs, and the National Gamekeepers’ Organisation (NGO).
Steve Bloomfield, BASC England director, said: “The Countryside Clay shoot is a wonderful occasion which raises funds for two very worthwhile causes. We are very much looking forward to next year’s event which will build on the success of the previous years’ events. It’s definitely a date for the diary.”
