Countryside Clay Shoot resounding success

The NGO team won the Hugh van Cutsem Challenge Cup at the hugely popular Countryside Clay Shoot

Organisers were delighted by the high turn out for the event at Six Mile Bottom, welcoming teams from some of the biggest shooting organisations in the country, including: BASC, the Countryside Alliance, the CLA, Guns on Pegs, the National Farmers’ Union and the National Gamekeepers’ Organisation.

Six stands stood between competitors and the Hugh van Cutsem Challenge Cup, and the teams of four were offered the chance to use Purdey shotguns for £20 and a double score at the high pheasant stand.

The shoot, organised by BASC and the CLA, was held to raise money for the Gamekeepers’ Welfare Trust and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution.
